Design / Build / Validate / Deliver

From investment process to working system.

A tailored engagement begins with the work your fund already does. We define where models and agents fit, how they are tested and what your team receives.

01 / The four stages

A clear path from requirements to delivery.

01 / Discover

Understand the fund

Map the workflow, questions, responsible teams, inputs, review standards and intended outcome.

02 / Design

Architect the system

Specify the models, agents, data boundaries, permissions, escalation and evaluation criteria.

03 / Develop

Build and validate

Develop against representative cases; assess accuracy, exceptions, traceability and investor review.

04 / Deliver

Deploy and hand over

Agree on where the system operates, which deliverables transfer and what ongoing support is required.

02 / Before a model exists

First we ask what the system must get right.

Which sources can it trust? What does a useful output look like? Which decisions need an investor? Which edge cases would break the workflow? The answers determine whether a model or agent is worth building.

Build criteria

Build criteria, not just a feature brief.

An engagement should define representative test cases, expected outputs, evidence requirements, security and data access boundaries, acceptance criteria and handover terms.

03 / Why human review matters

Models assist. Investors decide.

Investment judgments, approval of sensitive outputs and final client communications remain with the authorized team. Human oversight should be explicit in the design, not added after launch.

04 / Example engagement artifacts

Every phase should leave something concrete.

A useful working relationship makes decisions explicit at each stage. These are examples of artifacts to define in a statement of work, not a blanket guarantee of scope.

05 / Evaluation standard

Test the edge cases, not only the ideal prompt.

Before deployment, agree on what a correct answer means, what happens when sources conflict, when the agent must decline or escalate, and what the investor is expected to verify.

A working conversation

Start with a real investment workflow.

We’ll map what happens today, identify the expensive or repetitive work, and assess whether a purpose-built system makes sense.
